Butternut Farm is a wonderful place to stay. My wife and I stayed there a few years ago, and we couldn't have picked a better place. The house is a true Colonial (built 1720), and the rooms reflected the character of the house. Yes, it's an old house, so it's not going to be perfect, but that adds to the charm of it in my opinion. The food was delicious and fresh (the host, Donald, once served Julia Child). If we are ever in the area again, we will surely stay at Butternut Farm.
