The self service bath for $10 dollars is a no-brainer. They even have industrial strength blow dryers at each station, in case towels don't cut it for your dog
If they'd addressed these issues, I'd have given them a higher rating.
Great customer service, friendly and knowledgeable. This is the best place to shop for your pets.
Overall though, I was very happy when I left the store, and my dog was too.
The grooming stations were a good height to stand while bathing your dog. The water pressure was excellent. The blow dryer was very powerful, if a bit too hot for my breed dog. There were slip resistant stress relief mats at the front of the bathing stations for people to stand upon while bathing their dog. However, these do not cover the whole area, so the store floor in this area at the base of the stairs from the baths got quite slippery from the bath spray. I put down a towel there to ensure my dog's safety.
I just went there today, and found the staff helpful and very knowledgeable.
I took my Newf service dog to this store for a bath. The store is stocked with a variety of brands (but includes BLUE BUFFALO which AGAIN had another RECALL because "people buy it").
The only issue I had was that I couldn't find my dogs favorite food brand.
There are no non-slip materials in the bathing stall, stairs to the stalls or at the base of the stairs. This is dangerous for the dogs. I mentioned this issue to the manager; I'd just watched a Shepard slip and bang its hock as it used the stairs getting out of the bathing stall. I suggested a non-slip material in these areas and signs for owners to dry dogs feet before dogs exit the bathing stalls as well as place towels for better traction. The manager said the company has been in business for five years without incident and all stores have stalls are designed like this. I doubt there haven't been incidents; they just have been sued - yet.
